Kenneth Hansen and Citroen started their successful co-operation in 1993. Citroen was the car that helped Kenneth to become the star of rallycross that he is today. Fourteen European Championship titles and six silver medals during eighteen years of co-operation is something that only comes out of a very special relationship.
Ever since 1993 when Kenneth Hansen entered the highest division in rallycross Citroen has supported the team. Today Kenneth races in a Citroen C4. Several Citroen subsidaries and/or Citroen-dealers in Europe take the opportunity to have Kenneth's spectacular Citroen C4 in different activities, press days and on exhibitions.

Citroen Racing
From the state-of-the-art facilities for Citroen Racing in Versailles, Citroen Racing works with activities in Rally (C4 WRC, C2 Super 1600 and C2 challenges) and Rallycross. In 2001 Citroen Sport began their World Rally Championship campaign in a Citroen Xsara WRC and made their first full season in 2003. And what a start their first full season had! 1:st, 2:nd and 3:rd place at the opening round of the Championship in Monte Carlo. That year the team won the FIA World Championship title for Manufacturers. Citroen has after that successful beginning continued to bring home the World Champion title for manufacturers to France. Their driver and co driver, Sebastian Loeb and Daniel Elena, was crowned World Champions for drivers for the sixth time in 2009.
The Citroen team, headed by Mr. Olivier Quesnel, will participate in FIA World Rally Championship in 2010.

In Rallycross division 1, CV-Joints are exposed to the most extreme forces imaginable (0-100 km/h in 2.5 seconds, cars with 600 horsepower) in an environment that does not spare any of a car’s components. Kenneth Hansen has been a member of Götene Motorklubb ever since he began with motor sport in the 1970:s. The club has many rallycross drivers which has encouraged Götene MK to organize several rallycross events on Kinnekulle Ring.
